A celebration of life was held Saturday, January 20, 2024, for beloved former CBS reporter Pablo Guzmán. Guzmán died in November 2023 at 73 years old. Saturday's memorial service was held at the People's Church in East Harlem. Guzmán had deep ties to the neighborhood. Back in the 1960s, he started the Young Lords Party with others, which fought for neighborhood power and the right of Latinos to make their own choices.
